A commemoration event was held to honor our cherished martyrs with reverence and to reinforce our sense of national unity and solidarity on the anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, 2016. A moment of silence was observed for all our martyrs, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. In her speech, Lecturer Dr. Leyla Akbaş Yüksel paid tribute to the martyrs and emphasized that our duty moving forward is to work to the best of our ability every day. She stated that this land is not merely an inheritance from our ancestors but a trust held for future generations, and that we must strive to pass it on in the best possible way.
